What is a Horological Glossary

  • A horological glossary is a collection of definitions for technical terms, jargon, and concepts specifically related to horology, which is the art and science of measuring Tim, the constructing of timekeeping devices like clocks and watches. For my purposes it also defines subjects related to the meaning of time, symbols and metaphors of time keeping as well as terminology used for specific fields of creative enquiry. 
  • It serves as a reference tool for research students, horology enthusiasts within the field of timekeeping and  the art and design world.
